| | Hey, It's Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I thank him for no school today... Oh yeah, and being a civil rights leader. I'm just being bombarded with stress these days. Stress that I get from school, parents, and myself... So, besides that, some related news to this day...
Last Friday, some of you may have heard it from that chatroom Dylan made on Saturday(When is he going to give up computers!?), I was walking from Laura to JPS and by the junior parking lot, I see the crossing guard jump on some car. The car swirved past him, stopped on the side of the road and a black woman walked out of the car and started going crazy. She was yelling, "Don't you eva jump on ma car again! I got insurance! Get my liscense plate number! I dare ya!"
The crossing guard, who was a black man was just trying to calm her down saying he needed to stop her because the people were about to cross. So by the time, I just walked away try to get to homeroom since I was going to be late again.
It's funny though, if any of you watch the Boondocks on adultswim, yesterday's episode involved Martin Luther King Jr. not being dead in the episode, but when he got shot, he was in a coma for 30 years. When he awoke and saw today's world, he was said, "Niggas today are giving the black community a bad name. Niggas always have to complain. Niggas always have to argue. This is what America has turned us black into. I'm going to Canada!" (Note: I'm not being racist or anything, just some funny stuff I came acrss the last few days)
Can't we all just get along?
